| The award winning: Small Things - Collaborative Interactive Collage, Seth Hunter (code, design, organization) & Uva Digital Art Students (each individual envelope) Take a walk in a place that you have never been. Construct a container to hold objects that you find along the walk. Pay attention to small details and collect objects that illustrate a narrative about the space. Artists scanned the containers and found objects in four different states. These included the container closed, open, full, and as an arranged collage. These states were combined and animated onto a collective stage. The viewer participates in the collage by altering the arrangement of the objects and discovering the narratives. The collage is also represented in a traditional print form. |
