In November 2020, NHS England published the independently commissioned report by Professor Sir Mike Richards, Diagnostics: Recovery and Renewal — Report of the Independent Review of Diagnostic Services for NHS England. His report recommended that the NHS open community-based facilities away from hospitals for people to access non-emergency tests, such as organ scans and blood tests. and blood tests.

Earlier this year, the Oxford University Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust, in partnership with Perspectum, opened one of the first of 73 such centres in England, The Oxford Community Diagnostics Centre. We are proud to be providing this NHS service for our local community!
