Perspectum partners with SimonMed to expand its impact on liver health and the clinical journey for patients with liver disease

Dallas, TX., January 13th 2022 – Perspectum is excited to announce its partnership with SimonMed, one of the largest outpatient medical imaging providers in the U.S., to expand clinician and patient access to its best-in-class diagnostic aid LiverMultiScan®.

LiverMultiScan is a non-invasive MRI technology that delivers a clear picture of liver health through three key metrics in one single scan. Its visual, clinically meaningful report enables physicians with early detection, diagnosis, treatment triage and monitoring of liver disease progression.

With the prevalence of liver disease in over 100 million Americans, the ability to identify patients in the early stages at the point where the disease is still reversible is vital to disease management. Many patients do not show obvious symptoms until later stages of the disease, and if left undiagnosed and untreated, it can lead to serious complications such as liver failure, cancer and the need for liver transplant.
