Andrew Shaw

Interim General Counsel

Andrew Shaw is responsible for leading Perspectum’s global legal function and has served as its Interim General Counsel since March 2023.  Prior to this role, Mr. Shaw served as Lead US counsel since joining Perspectum in July 2021.

Prior to joining Perspectum, Mr. Shaw held senior legal roles with two of the world’s largest CROs, Labcorp Drug Development (now Fortrea) and Syneos Health. Before going in-house, Mr. Shaw practiced corporate law for leading law firms in the Boston area where he represented a portfolio of both private and public companies in the biopharmaceutical industry, advised on mergers, acquisitions, restructuring, and corporate governance. Mr. Shaw received a B.A. in Politics from Wake Forest University in 1999 and a J.D. from Vanderbilt University in 2004.  Mr. Shaw is an active member of the bar in Massachusetts and North Carolina.
