About the role

The Imaging Applications Specialist is an experienced MRI radiographer stepping into a clinical applications role, working in a multicultural environment within a highly innovation-driven company. The role combines clinical and applications skills. You will be responsible for the implementation of service quality checks by performing protocol installations and training, while ensuring image quality is maintained to the highest standard.

Day to day your duties will include:

  • Installing MRI protocols at different sites and performing quality checks on MRI phantoms
  • Performing MRI scans and training imaging staff on company’s protocols
  • Writing site visit reports and scanning manual documentation
  • Maintaining customer relationships through proactive support and communication
  • Providing ongoing post-installation training and support as necessary
  • Supporting and working alongside Data Analysis problem solving cases for customers
  • Driving continuous improvement and innovation into acquisition protocols and patient scanning workflows
  • Training and supporting the image analysis team on data quality
  • Working closely with MRI Physicists and Image Scientists in the development of new clinical applications
  • Representing the company at international conferences and trade shows

About you

To be successful in this role you will hold a Bachelor's degree in diagnostic radiography or equivalent and meet the registration requirements of the ARRT/equivalent MR certification. You will have extensive post-registration experience in MRI scanning and be able to perform high quality abdominal MRI scans as well as having experience in Cardiac MRI. You will be an excellent networker and have strong communication skills both written and verbally to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders. You will have strong attention to detail and be IT literate. You will be ready to travel nationally and internationally when requested.
