The Sales Finance Manager is a key role within the Clinical and Pharma Commercial business units of Perspectum. They are responsible for managing sales performance programs, territory management, reporting & data analytics, the administration of sales programs and incentive compensation plans.
About the role
- Be the primary Finance partner for the Clinical Sales and Pharma Business Development teams on strategic planning, sales strategy, and special projects.
- Develop and own Financial Planning and Analysis for Perspectum’s US Commercial business unit, including the annual Budget and Target setting and reporting on weekly, monthly and quarterly performance against our Financial and Sales KPIs.
- Create individual territory maps and customer targeting, design and manage territory rosters, Quota and Compensation files, Sales Org Charts, etc.
- Provide accurate, real-time visibility and forecasting of Sales team performance.
- Create presentations for team meetings with Sales initiatives.
- Develop sales processes, tools and communications on sales performance metrics needed to measure performance and design compensation.
- Design, rollout and provide updates on compensation plans, sales performance accelerators and incentives.
- Provide overall support and departmental coordination for Sales and Commercial team inquiries, sales performance reporting, analysis requests, and ad-hoc projects.
- Utilize CRM to monitor and measure the Sales organization activities and information: including validation of opportunities, territory updates, data questions, reporting/dashboards administration, scan processing, new business and monitor approved utilization of resources.
About you
- Bachelor’s degree in finance or business Administration preferred.
- Strong collaboration skills with commercial leaders and finance
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
- Excellent financial acumen and ability to partner with finance team on forecasting, CRM systems, deal flow, sales compensation, quota administration and resource planning
- Substantial experience in a Sales Operations and/or Financial Planning and Analysis role
- Experience with best practice sales enablement strategies
